LASAIRE 10TH BIENNIAL PROGRAM - EUROPE WORK EMPLOYMENT 2011-2012
THE EUROPEAN UNION AND THE EURO: A COMMON CRISIS WHERE IS THE EXIT?
AN OPPORTUNITY TO REINFORCE THE ROLE OF SOCIAL ACTORS
This 10th edition of the biennials cycle has set an ambitious objective, to reflect on the impact of the economic crisis on social relations and more generally on the European model and to strengthen the role and commitment of social actors in the search of exit solutions to the crisis. Such a reflection is even more crucial as austerity plans which are being set up in some countries include measures that jeopardize the functioning and even the future of industrial relations and more generally of social democracy.
